Rose Hotel
Rose Hotel
Rose Hotel began simply. It was the phrase on the cover of a notebook — an arbitrary title — that gave a home to the ideas songwriter Jordan Reynolds had been working on in her spare time. After the band Reynolds had spent the last five years touring with dissolved, she found her pastime project becoming her main focus and passion. With the ample personal time such changes can create, Reynolds channeled her experiences into a six-song collection that celebrates independence and pays homage to a lineage of influencers including Joni Mitchell, Laura Marling, and Jessica Pratt. Rose Hotel’s lush and intimate ep, Always a Good Reason, dropped in the late summer of 2017.

Now based in Atlanta, GA - Reynolds has joined forces with a revolving crew of local players (Tyler Jundt, John Restivo, Vinny Restivo, Mike Varner, Tymb Gratz), evolving from the solo project of a songwriter cutting her teeth, to the fleshed-out sound of a tight indie rock outfit. rose hotel is taking new form. Deriving influence from the seventies folk-tinged soft rock of artists like The Carpenters and Carole King, as well as the dark and dreamy tones of modern alt-country, Rose Hotel is both hushed and roaring - delicate and powerful.

Rose Hotel’s first full-band release: Honestly, One Thing - Reimagined drops on June 1st as a digital single via Lexington, KY boutique label The Fir Trade.
Riley Pinkerton
Riley Pinkerton
A singer-songwriter hailing from the East Village, Riley Pinkerton has taken her background of lyrically driven acoustic solo performances and transitioned into the chorus-laden-Gibson-SG-wielding ringleader of a captivating and dynamic full band show. From beneath an iconic mop of red hair, Pinkerton’s pure and lilting voice weaves and sails its way through heavy drums, thick bass, and searing lead guitar. Equal parts jubilance and melancholy, Pinkerton is unexpectedly enamoring. With tenebrous songs rooted in introspection; relaying tales of human discord, disconnect, female strife, and the occasional murder, her charming delivery and sharp demeanor breathes a life all its own.
