Butterboy with Jo, Aparna and Maeve
Butterboy with Jo, Aparna and Maeve
Three chuckle monsters descend on Littlefield every Monday at 8pm, clutching with them a horde of the freshest, silver-tongued comics and phone sex operators this city has to offer. Legends in their own right, these three friends, Aparna Nancherla, Maeve Higgins and Jo Firestone combine forces to host the funniest and best show in Gowanus! Accompanied by the musical stylings of DJ Donwill and the sensual silence of a rotating Idris Elba impersonator, you won't want to miss it. Plus, find out which parts of this blurb are bold, unapologetic lies!

Jo Firestone is a comedian whose work can be seen on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, The Chris Gethard Show, and heard on WFMU and Earwolf. She was recently named a New Face at the 2016 Just for Laughs Festival, and her Comedy Central half hour comes out this fall. If you like puns, check out her board game, Punderdome: A Card Game for Pun Lovers. If you don't like puns, don't worry about it. You can also see Jo doing stand-up in different basements around the city.

Aparna Nancherla is a comedian of the stand-up variety, but can often be seen sitting. Last year, she released her debut album, Just Putting It Out There, on Tig Notaro’s new label, Bentzen Ball Records and recorded a Comedy Central half hour special. This year, she was named one of “The 50 Funniest People Right Now” by Rolling Stone. Currently, you can catch her on the latest seasons of Bojack Horseman, Master of None and Love, all on Netflix, as well as on HBO's Crashing. She's also written for Late Night with Seth Meyers (NBC) and Totally Biased (FX). Aparna will next appear on the upcoming Comedy Central show, Corporate.

Maeve Higgins is the host of the hit podcast Maeve In America: Immigration IRL. She has performed all over the world, including in her native Ireland, Edinburgh, Melbourne and, most recently, Erbil. Now based in New York, she's made a name for herself there too. In a good way! She co-hosts Neil deGrasse Tyson's StarTalk on National Geographic and has appeared in Comedy Central's Inside Amy Schumer. Her work has been published in The New York Times and The Irish Times, and she is writing a book of essays for Penguin due for publication later this year.
Robby Hoffman
Robby Hoffman
Robby Hoffman is a small red-headed ex-Chasidic lesbian Jew stand-up comedian and writer. She was recently New Faces at JFL42 (2015) and asked back to the festival (2016). She also performed at Off-JFL in Montreal (2016). She also performed at the All Jane festival in Portland (2016) and has been asked for industry selection at the Funny Women Fest in Los Angeles (2016).

In her first couple years doing stand up, she had also won the WICF scholarship for Best Newcomer (2013) was named one of the “Top 10 Comedians” by the popular Montreal Mirror (2014), and hottest Top 50 on afterellen.com (2014). She was also in the TOP 10 of SiriusXM's Canada's Next Top Comic (2013) and created a hit mini web-series sponsored by Just for Laughs called Comedy in Biblical Proportions.

Robby also writes a whole bunch for TV, most recently for Odd Squad (PBS), who took home the Emmy Award for Outstanding Writing in April (2016). She recently relocated from Toronto to LA where she is consistently booked on some of the most sought after shows in town.
Andy Haynes
Andy Haynes
Andy Haynes was raised on salmon and caffeine, in the shadows of Mt. Rainier in the wilds of the Pacific Northwest. He now lives in Los Angeles, where he is a comedian, though he looks like he should be skippering a sailing regatta. With performances on Conan, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, and the New Faces showcase at the Montreal Just for Laughs Festival, Andy is becoming a must see performer.
Steven Castillo
Steven Castillo
Steven Castillo is one of the most original performers in Chicago. He is a delight to audiences everywhere, leaving a lasting impression on those who see him. His comedy dives into the absurd with a combination of fresh material, music and sound cues, and even sometimes speaking in a foreign language. He's performed in Comedy Festivals including Riot L.A and Limestone Comedy Fest.

Castillo's recent show "Steezus," a multimedia parody concert of Kanye West's "Life of Pablo," has been seen across the nation including on LA's Comedy Central stage. In addition, Steven has shared the stage with nationally performing comedians Eric Andre, Tim Heidecker and Andy Kindler. Popular comedy website, Interrobang.com, said " If you don’t know him already, find him, watch him and love him."
