Jo Firestone is a comedian whose work can be seen on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, The Chris Gethard Show, and heard on WFMU and Earwolf. She was recently named a New Face at the 2016 Just for Laughs Festival, and her Comedy Central half hour comes out this fall. If you like puns, check out her board game, Punderdome: A Card Game for Pun Lovers. If you don't like puns, don't worry about it. Aparna Nancherla is a comedian of the stand-up variety, but can often be seen sitting. Last year, she released her debut album, Just Putting It Out There, on Tig Notaro’s new label, Bentzen Ball Records and recorded a Comedy Central half hour special. This year, she was named one of “The 50 Funniest People Right Now” by Rolling Stone. Currently, you can catch her on the latest seasons of Bojack Horseman, Master of None and Love, all on Netflix, as well as on HBO's Crashing. She's also written for Late Night with Seth Meyers (NBC) and Totally Biased (FX). Aparna will next appear on the upcoming Comedy Central show, Corporate.

Maeve Higgins is the host of the hit podcast Maeve In America: Immigration IRL. She has performed all over the world, including in her native Ireland, Edinburgh, Melbourne and, most recently, Erbil. Now based in New York, she's made a name for herself there too. In a good way! She co-hosts Neil deGrasse Tyson's StarTalk on National Geographic and has appeared in Comedy Central's Inside Amy Schumer. Her work has been published in The New York Times and The Irish Times, and she is writing a book of essays for Penguin due for publication later this year.

Jackie Kashian
Jackie has been a national touring comic for over 15 years. She has her own half hour special on Comedy Central, was a semi-finalist on Last Comic Standing and has been on This American Life with Ira Glass. Her latest CD, “It is Never Going to Be Bread” was one of the top ten comedy albums on Amazon in 2010. She has a weekly podcast where she interviews people about their obsessions. Jared Logan
Jared Logan's contagiously giddy and cartoonish stand-up act has been wowing audiences across the country. Getting his start in Chicago, Logan recently relocated to New York City. He has appeared on Comedy Central's Live at Gotham, TBS, and was a featured comic on collegehumor.com. He took home the award for Best Comedian at the Chicago Comedy Awards and won the Comedy Idol Competition in Detroit. In his free time, Logan acts as dungeon master for the best Dungeons &Dragons game in New York City.
Dina Hashem
Dina Hashem
Dina first tried stand-up by auditioning for the 2010 New Jersey Comedy Festival at her school, Rutgers University. After winning first place, she continued to pursue comedy and has since been performing at NYC clubs including Gotham Comedy Club, Caroline's, Comic Strip Live, and Broadway Comedy Club. Her style involves a subdued delivery and dark observations about her life and Muslim upbringing. She was recently a competitor on Comedy Central's Roast Battle, and has performed at festivals including Bridgetown Comedy Festival, Boston Comedy Festival, and Limestone Comedy Festival.
Kara Klenk
Kara Klenk
Kara Klenk is a stand up comic, improviser, and actor based in New York City. She has appeared on SpikeTV, Nickelodeon, Comedy Central, The TVGuide Network, and Nick-at-Nite. She performs in clubs all over New York City, and has appeared on Comedysmack.com as well as on Comedy Central's Atom.com. Kara was a semi-finalist in the 2009 New York Comedy Contest, was selected for Time Out New York's Joke of the Week, and was nominated for Joke of the Year. She also produces and hosts a long-running NYC show called If You Build It.
Fumi Abe
Fumi Abe
Fumi Abe is a Japanese-American stand-up comedian based in New York City by way of Columbus, Ohio. His comedy has been featured on Rooftop Comedy, MTV Decoded, and Seriously.TV. Drawing inspiration from his experience growing up in the Midwest as an immigrant, Fumi slings jokes about family, being a millennial, his white girlfriend, and everything else in between.

In 2017, Fumi was selected as a semi-finalist at the Stand Up NBC competition. He also placed 2nd out of 60 comedians in the 2017 Devil Cup Comedy Competition. In addition, he has performed at various comedy festivals across the country such as Hell Yes Fest, Out of Bounds Comedy Festival, Boston Comedy Festival, and in January he'll be at SF Sketchfest. Fumi is also a co-producer of Nothing Important!, a monthly comedy show in Brooklyn that was recently featured on Time Out New York as "One of The Best Comedy Shows in NYC".
