Brooklynite Choir
Brooklynite Choir
Brooklynite Choir is a 40 person contemporary choir based in Gowanus, Brooklyn. The group has been working together since November 2015 and is all about singing fun, kooky, feel good songs in glorious harmony. The Choir cover well known pop, rock and indie tunes, layering them with rich harmonies and just a touch of irony.

Brooklynite choir is steadily becoming an established new york vocal group, performing at venues such as Le Poissan Rouge and Arlene’s Grocery.
In 2016, along side our Sister Group – The Britpop Choir, Brooklynite Choir performed at Madison Square Garden, opening for the New York Liberty and in March 2017 sang as a back- up choir for acapella producer, artist and YouTube sensation Mike Thompkins.

The Brooklynite Choir is a program delivered by Urban Choir Project. For more info visit www.urbanchoirproject.org
The Foxy Johnstons
The Foxy Johnstons
Brooklyn-based singers Kim Foxen and Mel Johnston are The Foxy Johnstons, a soul-folk duo. Singing together since childhood, their musical and onstage chemistry is unique. Both songwriters with their own distinct style, the two layer the sounds of lush and soulful harmonies into everything they create. Look out for their first EP release, available digitally and on vinyl, in early 2018.
