Night Train with Wyatt Cenac
Hosted by Brooklyn-based comedy favorite Wyatt Cenac, Night Train show features comedy from the best local and international stand up comedians, and--at times--special guest appearances by musicians, local celebrities, and the occasional surprise only found in Gowanus.
Ophira Eisenberg was selected as one of New York Magazine's Top 10 Comics that "Funny People Find Funny. She has appeared on Comedy Central's Premium Blend and Fresh Faces of Comedy, VH-1's Best Week Ever and All Access, Fox, E! Channel, the Oxygen Network, and the Discovery Channel. She also had her own 1⁄2 hour comedy special for CTV’s Comedy Now. She has performed all over the world and is a regular host and storyteller with The Moth, a NYC-based storytelling phenomenon.
Adam Newman is a very funny Brooklyn-based comedian. He has appeared on John Oliver's New York Stand-Up Show on Comedy Central, was named one of Comedy Central's Comics to Watch, won Carolines' Comedy Madness competition, and released his debut stand-up CD, Not for Horses, via Rooftop Comedy Productions. His new web series, My Dad is in a Boy Band, comes to The Warner Sound January 2013. Adam's TV appearances include MTV's The CollegeHumor Show and F'nMTV, various talking head shows on TV Guide Network, the Tyra Banks Show (weird), and dozens of CollegeHumor Originals on CollegeHumor.com, including their popular series Very Mary Kate, Hardly Working, and High Times Editorial Office. Adam has been featured in Time Out New York and The New York Daily News, wrote for Run it Back on Cartoon Network, and starred in an Animal Planet pilot called Cute Hunters.
Ariel Elias is a nationally touring comedian living in New York City. This Kentucky Jew made everyone laugh during her bat mitzvah, so her parents weren't that surprised or disappointed when she started doing stand-up after college. She is a regular contributor to Someecards and has written for Jezebel and Neutrons Protons. She can be seen performing at clubs all over the city, including New York Comedy Club, Caroline's, and The Stand.
Kevin Avery is a writer and comedian originally from San Francisco, CA, whose high-energy brand of stand up has brought him to the finals of the San Francisco International Comedy Competition and earned him a spot on Metropolitan Magazines list of Top 99 People to Watch. A regular opener for Dave Chappelle and David Alan Grier, Kevin has appeared at the Vancouver Comedy Festival, the 2009 Aspen Rooftop Comedy Festival, the 2009 LA Comedy Festival and the 2008 and 2010 SF Sketchfest. Kevin just wrapped up a series of headlining shows at the Punchline in San Francisco with fellow comic and co-conspirator W. Kamau Bell, which the SF Weekly called “as rare and magical as a sparkle-unicorn doing West Side Story choreography under a liquid light show.” Kevin is currently the head writer on "Totally Biased with W. Kamau Bell" on FX.
Lawrence DeLoach is a Brooklyn native. Lawrence is the winner of both the Crosstown Comedy Festival (2016) and the Hoboken Comedy Festival (2016). Lawrence is also the creator and host of Memory Bank Shots Podcast with Lawrence DeLoach where he discusses basketball, past and present with some of today’s hottest comedians and players. Lawrence can be seen at clubs all over NYC.
