The Debutante Hour - (Set time: 9:30 PM)
The Debutante Hour
The Debutante Hour keeps its musical roots in American country, blues and vaudeville while letting their lyrics run the gamut from absurd to sublime. Susan Hwang and Maria Sonevytsky switch fluidly between accordion/keys and hobo drum kit while Mia Pixley holds it down on the cello as the unconventional power trio harmonizes about planning, worldviews and works of literature, with the occasional swerve into a Carpathian mountain stomp.
Schwervon! - (Set time: 8:30 PM)
Schwervon! is a two piece rock band. Nan Turner (originally from Washington state) and Matt Roth (originally from Kansas) met at the Sidewalk Cafe in downtown Manhattan (NYC). At the time Nan was playing in the all-girl indie pop band Bionic Finger and Matt was performing as Antifolk acoustic troubadour Major Matt Mason USA. After a series of “Jam Dates” at the now defunct Context Studios, a handful of lofi indie rock sketches were formed based around such banal topics as arguing couples on the street and food.

The music of Schwervon! grew to represent the celebration of imperfect love through jagged rock minimalism. They were DIY long before it was a marketing strategy, mixing and recording the bulk of their music in their apartment on the Lower East Side of Manhattan where they live with their cat Gummo. They call it Olive Juice Music where Matt also produces music for other bands and operates an online indie music distribution center.
Both of them continue to occasionally play and release music with other solo projects and collaborations: (Pantsuit, Kansas State Flower, Nan Turner, Major Matt Mason USA).

Together, Schwervon! has produced 4 full length albums, 2 seven inch vinyl only singles, in addition to touring the world and performing with The Vaselines, Belle and Sebastian, Kimya Dawson, The Thermals, Jeffrey Lewis, The Essex Green, Herman Dune, The Trachtenburg Family Slideshow Players, Comet Gain and other luminaries.
Choban Elektrik - (Set time: 7:30 PM)
