Dr. Uke and Daughters
Dr. Uke and Daughters
Dr. Uke and Daughters have been performing as a family band in various musical incarnations since Sylvie and Jacqueline were 8 and 10 years old—trust us, they’re much older now. Jim/Dad/Dr. Uke now accompanies the group on ukulele, having made the switch from guitar a few years ago. They apply their unique harmony blend to everything from jazz standards and Elvis to showtunes with some Yiddish folk songs thrown in for good measure.
