Withered Hand (UK)
Withered Hand (UK)
Withered Hand - the nom de plume of Edinburgh, Scotland's Dan Willson - is finally coming to the US, playing his very first shows in support of the stateside release of his critically acclaimed debut album, Good News, out March 1st on Absolutely Kosher, produced by American producer, Kramer (Galaxie 500, Low, Daniel Johnston).

The album was released in the UK in late 2009 and without any coordinated publicity or promotional effort, Withered Hand has been gathering critical acclaim from all corners via word of mouth. To wit, MOJO magazine’s four star review of the album came out eight months (!) after its release. Regular BBC airplay from the likes of Gideon Coe, Marc Riley, Tom Robinson, Vic Galloway and Rob Da Bank has led to live sessions being recorded for BBC Radio Scotland and BBC 6Music. Withered Hand has garnered some rather public endorsements from the likes of Jarvis Cocker, The Dodos and Frightened Rabbit. All of this attention has led to festival invitations, a successful European tour and regular sold out shows in London and Scotland alike.

Withered Hand's show at Littlefield will be the quiet Scotsman's US debut show!
The Morgues
The Morgues
The Morgues is the americana-esque outlet of David M. King and a handsome bunch of his wonderfully talented friends. His music kindly nods to storytellers like Bob Dylan, Tom Waits and Leonard Cohen, and is recommended for anyone who’s ever found comfort in the solitude following a break-up or the anxious anticipation of waiting for your soulmate to come home from work.

We're very excited to have The Morgues back at Littlefield.
