Mil's Trills 3rd Annual Winter Bash

Seeking respite in 2010, Amelia returned to her home in Brooklyn to welcome the birth of her niece, and inadvertently created Mil’s Trills, a series of live interactive performances introducing grown-ups with young children to the world of instruments through original, quirky and whimsical songs on the electric ukulele. With the help of a rotating cast of 80+ musical guests, Amelia produces weekly community-based shows that culminate in large, sold-out performances and collaborations with major venues in NYC, such as the JCC in Manhattan, 92Y Tribeca, & Lincoln Center. Mil’s Trills has also appeared with Sesame Street’s Elmo & Gordon at South St. Seaport’s Children’s Day in 2011 and has been recommended by New York Magazine, Time Out Kids, The New York Times, AOL’s Patch, plus Brooklyn Parent Magazine, A Child Grows in Brooklyn and the Brooklyn Heights Blog.
