Pascuala Ilabaca is one of the leading exponents of the new prolific scene of young Chilean singer-songwriters. Her music is rooted in traditional sounds and has the ability to incorporate shades from jazz, pop and rock, and influences gathered throughout her life in distant places such as India or Mexico. On stage, she has a strong scenic presence, almost always armed with her accordion; her voice has the power to sweeten the rhythms and melodies of the band that accompanies her: Fauna. Pascuala is a multi-award winner, including Best Album in the World Beat Independent Music Awards. She has toured several times in Europe and this is the second time she will be performing in NYC.
Pinc Louds is currently one of the most important up and coming NYC bands. Their sound has been labeled "Acoustic Hardcore Doo-Woop", created by a unique blend of a wide range of influences such as Pixies, Violent Femmes, Billie Holiday, and a variety of Latin American music. After two years playing in the subway and in venues such as Bizarre Bushwick, Pianos, House of Yes, Bowery Electric, etc, earlier this year the band released their first LP: Delancey St. Station. Fronted by Puerto Rican singer Claudi Love, their shows will take you to imaginary worlds in what they call "Immersive Cabarets".
