If you can walk, you can dance Le Roc. Often referred to as the 'Modern Jive' the dance draws from Jive, Rock and Roll, Lambada and West Coast Swing. Originating from Paris and danced to the latest music, LeRoc is a smooth and stylish dance, easy to learn and very social as we rotate partners in the class every couple of minutes. Dress code is casual and comfortable. Shoes should be leather, suede or plastic soled to allow you to perform the turns easily. Sneakers do not work as they grip the floor. In other words, NO SNEAKERS!
Vicki Thompson
Vicki got her start as an aerobics instructor, trainer and dance competitor placing in state and national competitions in Australia. After fifteen years she transitioned to teaching Ceroc, (modern jive) performing with demo crews and competing in Australian titles - placing in many - and twice winning the Advanced Open Freestyle competition. Vicki has choreographed routines for demo crews and teams, as well as individual competitions. Currently, she continues her dance practice, doing ballet and pointe classes in NYC. She has taught in Australia, UK and the US.
Julian Fisher
Having gone to an all-boys English School from the age of 11 – 18, partner dancing wasn’t something that Julian was born into. Having seen friends dancing LeRoc at University, Julian was intrigued and within taking two lessons he was hooked, transitioning from beginner to Advanced Classes within a period of six months.

Julian has danced, as well as taught, across multiple continents and time zones.

He has been involved in dance competitions and marathons for the past two decades.
