The Vandelles - (Set time: 11:30 PM)
The Vandelles
Thanks to their ripping guitar lines- and even finer harmonies- The Vandelles define the distaff side of the Noir Rock sound. Their biggest hits, including Lovely Weather (DBA) and Swell to Heaven (TTB), remain among the most potent and enduring recordings of their era. Formed as a merger of two local vocal groups, The Mercenary Gang and Del Black Aloha, The Vandelles take aspects of Link Wray and The Jesus and Mary Chain, The Ronettes and My Bloody Valentine, Buddy Holly and The Ramones, to create a sound thats uniquely theirs.

While crooning softly in the background, they take old school rock and roll your parents used to listen to and run it through screaming, blown out amplifiers. Having played from LA to NYC The Vandelles have developed an infamous live show that is an audio and visual assault. Garage cats, cowboy beat poetry, and the Wall of Sound. Turn your eyes inside out and dig the vacuum, This is Noir Rock and Roll.
The Brooklyn What - (Set time: 10:30 PM)
The Brooklyn What
The Brooklyn What are a rock n' roll band from Brooklyn, NY. Their first album, The Brooklyn What For Borough President was recorded in a few hours and released on their own Pozar Records in 2008. The Gentrification Rock EP was released in 2009 in response to the Atlantic Yards Project. South Brooklyn Singles EP was released in 2010, recorded in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. The BKW have brought their live shenanigans all over New York City and beyond, playing with acts such as H.R. (Bad Brains), Joe Jack Talcum (Dead Milkmen), The Men, Mischief Brew, The Scofflaws, Japanther, Murphy's Law, The Shirts and Laura Stevenson and The Cans. They are currently in the studio recording their second full length album at Contintental Studios in Long Island City, Queens, slated for an early release in 2012.
The Everymen - (Set time: 9:30 PM)
The Everymen
The Everymen are a lot of fun to hang out with. We prefer beers out of cans and love a backyard barbeque. We like our shows to rumble and we love when our drunk fans dance on the fucking tables. We like our guitars to be loud. We like hooks. We like sax. We like wearing jeans and t shirts. We think playing a great show is the most important thing a band can do.

Despite now living in New York City we still say "New Jersey" whenever people ask where The Everymen are from. Some nights we're from Jersey City. Some nights we're from the Jersey Shore. But we'll always be a band from Jersey. It may seem silly at first, considering most of us don't live in New Jersey anymore but the reality is where we're from is as inextricable from these songs as the guitars, the voices and the drums. We're a New Jersey rock band. We're always going to be a New Jersey rock band. Allow that to inform you how it will.

Love,
The Everymen
Pow Wow! - (Set time: 8:30 PM)
Pow Wow!
..Think of a living jukebox. of songs you haven't yet heard but have been longing to hear. think of them as love. for pop music long gone and pop music yet to be created. think blue suede shoes and outerspace.

in comes pow wow! the brainchild of the nazareno brothers. Originally from the suburbs of jersey and currently based in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, they have been writing and playing music relentlessly for the past 11 years. However, it was only 3 years ago that the two decided to consolidate their aspirations and form a group together: pow wow!

They are new. fresh. and sexy. Their tunes are infectious and subversively charming, whispering romance and promiscuity; love and apathy... often in the same breath. All the while never forgetting to poke fun at the lemons life hands us. the awkward moments. the compromising situations. conversational songs for the electronic generation.

From neon colored disco beats to country tinged twang, the group prides itself in being a chameleon of sorts, drawing from the past 60 years of international pop music, and following a lineage of "march to their own beat type of bands" such as the kinks, sparks, the pastels and the smiths.
