Night Train with Guest Host Michelle Buteau
Night Train with Guest Host Michelle Buteau
This week's edition of Night Train will be hosted by the wonderful Michelle Buteau!

The weekly Night Train show features comedy from the best local and international stand up comedians, and--at times--special guest appearances by musicians, local celebrities, and the occasional surprise only found in Gowanus.
Jared Logan
Jared Logan
Jared Logan's contagiously giddy and cartoonish stand-up act has been wowing audiences across the country. Getting his start in Chicago, Logan recently relocated to New York City. He has appeared on Comedy Central's Live at Gotham, TBS, and was a featured comic on collegehumor.com. He took home the award for Best Comedian at the Chicago Comedy Awards and won the Comedy Idol Competition in Detroit. In his free time, Logan acts as dungeon master for the best Dungeons &Dragons game in New York City.
Ian Karmel
Ian Karmel
Ian Karmel is a homegrown Portland comedian whose style zig-zags between the eclectic and the universal, appealing both to crowds who own homes in the suburbs, and crowds just staying with their parents in the suburbs until they figure some things out. Coming from an improv background, including time with The Groundlings and the Upright Citizens Brigade, Ian entered the world of stand-up with a unique perspective that helped him win the 2011 Funniest Person in Portland, 2010 Portland Amateur Comedy Competition and has given him the opportunity to feature at the Moontower Comedy Festival, Bridgetown Comedy Festival, Bumbershoot, Portland's Helium Comedy Club, Philadelphia's Helium Comedy Club, Minneapolis' Acme Comedy Club, Austin's Cap City Comedy Club, Seattle's Comedy Underground and Los Angeles' Comedy Store. In addition to stand-up, Karmel has appeared on television, playing a character in IFC's sketch show Portlandia and as a post-game analyst and commentator for the Portland Trailblazers.

Claudia Cogan
Claudia Cogan
Claudia Cogan has appeared as a semifinalist on Last Comic Standing, been a talking head on Vh1, and received three nominations for an Excellence in Comedy in New York award. She is the winner of the first Time Out New York Joke of the Year. She was featured in New York Magazine's Ten People Funny People Find Funny. Her festival appearances include Bridgetown Comedy Festival, Eugene Mirman Comedy Festival, and San Francisco SketchFest. Her jokes have been featured on Rooftop Comedy and Youtube's Official Comedy Channel.
Neko White
Neko White
Born in 1993, Neko has been a professional stand-up comedian since 2007 at the age of 14. In 2014, Neko taped his first one-hour stand-up special, Introducing Me. As a personality, Neko has stolen the show on MTV 2’s Hip Hop jHollywood Squares, and Elite Daily’s wildly popular Gen Why show. As a stand-up comedian, Neko has appeared on Axs Tv's Gotham Comedy Live, Sirus XM's "Sway In the morning Show" FOX’s Laughs, Popcornflix’s Live at New York Comedy Club, and a documentary on his life entitled One Mic.

Armed with a well-developed view of the ever changing world around him, quick wit, and very endearing charm. Neko’s material is a mix of social commentary and personal analysis that hits on every target from the most topical controversy to his own self-image. Not to mention a tenacious work ethic that leads White to do more than 500 shows a year. He hones his skills on the comedy club circuit of New York City, a regular at top comedy clubs such as Caroline’s on Broadway, Comic Strip Live, Broadway Comedy Club, and New York Comedy Club. He has performed in the New York Comedy Festival and opened for headliners including Donnell Rawlings and Jay Pharoah. Neko has been described by fans and reviewers as “a breath of fresh air” and “an endearing old soul.”
Maggie Maye
Maggie Maye
Maggie Maye loves candy almost as much as she also loves performing comedy. She made her late night debut on Conan and was featured in AXS TV presents: Gotham Comedy Live. She’s performed in the Bridgetown Comedy Festival, San Francisco Sketchfest (as one of the Sketchfest Dozen), Moontower Comedy & Oddity Festival, SXSW, and the All Jane Comedy Festival. She’s opened for Hannibal Burress, Paul Rodriguez, Gladys Knight, and Earth, Wind and Fire. Her work has been featured in the Huffington Post, Variety, LaughSpin, and the New York Times. She’s been named a comic to watch by Splitsider, the Austin American Statesman, and the Austin Chronicle (who also named her as 2016 Best of Austin Stand up comic). Maggie is also a member of award winning improv and sketch shows, Damn, Gina! and Doper than Dope. Her comedy is described the same way she is: sassy, charming, and smart. A 6-year-old once told her she was the funniest person ever. And kids rarely lie.
