Best friends and New York Comedians, Farah Brook and Blair Socci, started a comedy show in the east village in 2014. They named it after Farah's grandmother from Long Island, Harriet, because she makes them laugh.

He has since parlayed his short story and play writing into stand-up, making observations on pop culture, his strict vegan diet, and ranking other people’s lifestyles on a scale from “chill” to “kind of whatever I guess.” Last year, Julio was a finalist in the 2013 NBC Stand-Up for Diversity showcase and awarded a spot on the 2014 NBC College Diversity Tour. Most recently, Julio was named one of Comedy Central’s 2014 Comics to Watch.
