Climbing Poetree
Internationally-acclaimed duo, Climbing PoeTree is bringing together 25 phenomenal musicians, vocalist, and dancers to celebrate the release of their groundbreaking new album INTRINSIC. This collection of 17 rebel-rousing anthems, bilingual ballads, and unconventional love songs bridges electronic music and live instrumentation, combining hip-hop, spoken word, rock, blues, folk, soul, and Afro-Latin beats. INTRINSIC is heart medicine for these times, reminding us all that we belong to each other.

Climbing PoeTree has independently organized over 30 national and international tours, taking their work from South Africa to Cuba, the UK to Mexico, the Brooklyn Academy of Music to the United Nations, Harvard University to Rikers Island Prison. They have been featured alongside powerhouses such as Alicia Keys, Janelle Monáe, Erykah Badu, Little Dragon, Talib Kweli, Maxwell, Madonna, Goapele, Rising Appalachia, T.I., Dead Prez, and Angela Davis who remarked, “Each time I have the pleasure of attending a performance by Climbing PoeTree, I feel enriched, renewed, and inspired.”
