*Weary of the ways of the world?

LIBERATE YOURSELF from this regime, with all your raw, unfiltered BAD AND BOUJEE aesthetics for a cute likkle whine and bubble to alleviate the stress away.

BLACK LOVE allows us to take up space together and say I SEE YOU, sis - your struggle and your beauty. To connect and feel free through movement with NAAN WORRY of judgment or respectability.

So get ready to SWEAT out that fresh twist out and break your back to each booty bouncing beat.
DJ Mursi Layne
Trinidad native and Brooklyn resident, Mursi, is not only a crowd pleasing self-taught deejay, but also a producer, film Sound Recordist/Sound Editor and co-founder of The Artchitects, a boutique production company. She spins an array of music to include Hip Hop, Club, Reggae, Soca, Electronic, Classics, and anything that will make one body-roll even if they don't know how to. Her keen ear for music and down-to-earth personality has helped her build her brand both globally and commercially.

"My DJ sets are like a melting pot! I can go anywhere from c*nty beats like MikeQ-produced tracks to Stuttastep tunes such as DJ Kiva's remix of Erykah Badu's Out My Mind, Just in Time." - Mursi (ACE Hotel interview).

Mursi's career highlights include Afro Punk Festival, F1 Grand Prix + Private event at The King's Palace in The Kingdom of Bahrain (Middle East), Lee's Palace (Toronto), Ozio Lounge in Washington DC, The MET Museum, ACE Hotel, American Cancer Society, Top Shop, Madewell, Adidas, Public Assembly, Knitting Factory and more. She has also performed at shows featuring artists such as Rye Rye, TheeSatisfaction, Mykki Blanco and BadBadNotGood.
