Night Train with Wyatt Cenac
Hosted by Brooklyn-based comedy favorite Wyatt Cenac, Night Train show features comedy from the best local and international stand up comedians, and--at times--special guest appearances by musicians, local celebrities, and the occasional surprise only found in Gowanus.
Maeve Higgins is a stand-up comedian from Ireland who basically performs wherever she can. So far this has included a bus and many major cities. As well as wowing and/or bewildering crowds at festivals like the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, the New Zealand Comedy Festival and the Eugene Mirman Comedy Festival in Brooklyn, she is a TV star at home and makes some great radio.
Jacqueline Novak is New York City based comedian. Check out the embarrassments of humanity at her new site http://www.douchechillz.com. You can take a peek at her bare bones personal website http://www.jokesnovak.com.
Aaron now makes his home in New York City where he works most of the top comedy clubs. Aaron just wrapped 13 episodes as Floyd in the groundbreaking new TV series 24 HOUR RENTAL which will be airing on Superchannel in 2013. He has appeared at the Boston Comedy Festival, the New York Comedy Festival, and performed a nationally televised gala set for the CBC Winnipeg Comedy Festival. His first solo show, The Underbelly Diaries ran off-Broadway at Theatre Row in NYC where it was chosen as “one of three shows you can’t afford to miss” in the New York Daily News. The show has been adapted as a feature film and is being produced by Timshel Pictures. Aaron also recently appeared off-Broadway in Jeremy Levy’s one act play 21 DAYS and is a subject in the upcoming documentary A UNIVERSAL LANGUAGE about 6 Canadian Comedians who travelled to Israel to perform to diverse audiences. He will also be featured in Alan Zweig’s new film WHEN JEWS WERE FUNNY. Additional recent Televison guest appearances include KING, Breakout Kings and Murdoch Mysteries. He has also been heard on CBC’s The Debaters.
As a husband/dad/Telephone Man/Jedi by day and a stand-up comic/occasional Sith Lord by night, Haywood Turnipseed still finds time to entertain DC’s masses at comedy spots around the region. Originally from the Holy Land of Indiana, Haywood now resides in DC with his family and is a U.S. Air Force Veteran.
When he’s not catching a nap with his bulldog pup Rickles, Sean Donnelly can be found performing nightly in clubs all over NYC and venues up and down the East Coast. In New York he hasperformed at Gotham Comedy Club, Carolines, Comix & Stand Up NY. Festivals: New York Comedy Festival and Magners’ Comedy Festival (Boston-2011 finalist) as well as the Bridgetown Comedy Fesitival in Portland. Television appearances: World of Jenks (MTV), Red Eye (Fox News). In addition to performing, Sean produces and hosts a weekly stand up show in Brooklyn. He has been featured in The New York Post & Time-Out NY. Most recently Sean made it to the final four in Carolines March Comedy Madness.
