Matt Singer & Friends present: "The Build" Album Release
Matt Singer and Family Records are proud to release Matt's new album titled "The Build" on April 26th at Littlefield in Brooklyn. The album is about the climb from darkness to light. Matt, who has been described as "silly yet sincere" (The Deli), "endlessly compelling" (Pop Headwound), "unapologetically dorky and genuinely fun" (We Also Ran) will be joined by his band which includes Jim Altieri, Misty Foster, Chris Michael and Curt Garey.

More than a record release, this musical variety show will have performances by three of New York City's finest puppeteers. Melissa Creighton, Eric Wright and James Godwin (who have collectively worked with the Muppets, Basil Twist, and Dave Chapelle, on PBS, SNL and at the Metropolitan Opera House) who will share in the joy and bring visual spectacle to the night.

Matt will also screen his debut music video of his current single, "All This Joy", directed by Jesse Garrison.

Matt Singer has a sense of tragedy. He also has a sense of humor. Using his sixth sense for songwriting, Matt brings crafty lyricism and a warm sound, placing his listener around a campfire, in the middle of a city street. He has been compared to They Might be Giants, Paul Simon, Tenacious D, Elvis Costello and Flight of the Conchords and has played some of the premier venues in New York City. "Silly yet sincere" (The Deli), "endlessly compelling" (Pop Headwound), "unapologetically dorky and genuinely fun" (We Also Ran), Matt Singer is "one complex package" (Urban Folk).
