Abbey Braden has been taking photos since she was 2-1/2 years old. She entered her first darkroom in 1989 and hasn't looked back since. She's been photographing musicians professionally since 1997 when members of Wu-Tang Clan wandered into a rave she happened to be attending. She sold the photos the following morning. With the help of her friends she started Punkphoto.com in 2004 to work directly with bands focusing on new media and quickly established a niche in the music photog world. This August marks the 5 year anniversary milestone. Please join us in celebrating sound and vision of over 1000 bands without having to get kicked in the head by overzealous crowdsurfers. Selections will include Muse and other all time favorite bands, highlights from Bonnaroo and Iceland Airwaves, the last days of CBGB, and perhaps Kanye West with his topless astronaut backup dancers.
